Enjoy the riverside and dedication of new public artwork at River of Welcome, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Canalport Riverwalk Park, 2600 S. Ashland Ave., Chicago.
Sponsored with support of E(art)H Chicago, members of the Freshwater Lab at the University of Illinois-Chicago and the Chicago Public Art Group will celebrate installation of permanent artworks that reflect the history, ecology, and possible futures of Canalport Riverwalk Park. Activities will include opportunities to engage with the park and Chicago River system, with free seating and snacks provided to attendees.
